Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Private Vaulteck is designed so that your private content stays private. This policy explains what the app does — and, more importantly, what it does not do — with your information.

What we collect

Nothing. Private Vaulteck has no accounts and no servers. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data about you. The app includes no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs.

Your content

The photos, videos and documents you add are encrypted with AES-GCM and stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage. The encryption key is derived from your passcode. Your files never leave your device and are never uploaded to any server or cloud.

Face ID / Touch ID

If you enable biometric unlock, authentication is handled entirely by iOS. The app is only told whether authentication succeeded; it never receives or stores your biometric data.

Device permissions

Importing uses the system photo picker, which hands the app only the items you pick — it never gains access to your library. The app may ask for permission to save items back to Photos, and only if you choose to export them. You can change them anytime in the iOS Settings app.

Purchases

Premium is an optional one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Children's privacy

Private Vaulteck is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
